Engaging Minds. Building Futures.

Welcome to the Salisbury Academy Booster Club! The Booster Club was formed to increase school spirit and support Salisbury Academy sports. The objective of the Booster Club is to organize volunteers who support the various teams and to raise money for the needs of our sports programs beyond what is budgeted by the school. Booster Club membership is open to all parents of student athletes and people who are interested in supporting the athletic programs. All parents of athletes are strongly encouraged to become active in the Booster Club. There is no cost to join.

The Booster Club raises money to support the athletic program by charging admission to games and the sale of concessions at the games. Various fundraisers are held throughout the year to raise additional funds as needed. Two on-going fundraisers include selling advertising banners which hang in our gym and selling pizza lunches one Friday each month.  The First Vice President and the Secretary coordinate these fundraising efforts.

The proceeds from the fundraising efforts support on-going athletic needs such as game officials and equipment purchases.  New uniforms for the teams are purchased on a rotating basis with funds from the Booster Club. The First Vice President also works with the Athletic Director to prioritize needs of the athletic department and allocate funds for the purchase of equipment to enhance our programs. Several local businesses have assisted in funding some of these needs.

The Booster Club’s Second Vice President is in charge of organizing volunteers to assist the coaches and athletic director as needed by each team in every sport. This includes scheduling parents to work the concession stand and admission table at games, carpooling to away games and planning the end of the season parties. Volunteers also work with the Athletic Director to host a Sports Banquet in May of each year. At this banquet all students who have participated in a sports team during the school year are recognized and awards are given to students who have excelled in each sport.

You can help by joining and by signing up for the various projects that support our teams. Giving your time to the Salisbury Academy Booster Club supports a great and growing sports program. We are extremely proud of the athletic program at Salisbury Academy and our goal is to make it the best.
